Hi, I’m Yicel Alonso, a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with teens and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or trying to figure out big life changes. Maybe you’re dealing with constant overthinking, pressure from school or friends, feeling stuck, or just having a hard time getting through the day. Whatever’s going on, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to face it by yourself. A lot of the people I see come to therapy feeling like they have to hold it all together, even when things feel really heavy underneath. I offer a space where you can slow down, breathe, and talk about whatever’s on your mind without feeling judged. Together, we’ll work to understand what you’re going through and find ways to make things feel a little more manageable. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I want you to feel safe being yourself, exploring what’s weighing on you, and being met with kindness not judgment. I use a strength based and holistic approach, mixing tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and relationship focused techniques while keeping in mind how your background, relationships, and culture shape your experience. If you’re feeling lost, disconnected, burned out, or unsure about who you are or where you’re headed, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself, your goals, and your sense of calm. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools you can use in your everyday life.
