Introduction

Accepting clients for virtual sessions in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Healing Tribe is a culturally responsive therapy practice for adults who are used to being strong for everyone else, but feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in the same cycles. If you’re tired of surviving and ready to feel safe, grounded, and whole again; you’re in the right place. I’m Monique Overstreet, MA, LPC also, I'm Your Inner Child Advocate. As a licensed therapist and trauma-informed practitioner, I help adults heal the emotional wounds that keep them repeating toxic cycles, people-pleasing, or doubting their worth. Together, we identify how past experiences and inner child wounds have shaped your patterns and how to gently release them so you can rise into alignment with your higher self. My approach blends clinical skill with soulful healing by combining trauma-informed therapy, inner child work, and mindfulness with compassion and cultural awareness. I believe true healing happens when we meet our pain with curiosity instead of judgment, and when we allow the parts of ourselves we once silenced to finally speak. In our work, I provide tools that help you identify and move through triggers, regulate your emotions, and nurture a grounded sense of safety within yourself. Healing Tribe is your safe space to breathe, unlearn, and remember who you were before life taught you to shrink. This journey isn’t just about coping... it’s about coming home to yourself. When you heal your inner child, you create space for your higher self to emerge. The version of you that lives in peace, alignment, and authenticity. When you’re ready, request an appointment to begin with a free consultation and see if this space feels right for you. *FL- TLHT Licensed Mental Health Counselor #8009; *South Carolina registration number is 2834; https://llr.sc.gov/TeleHealth/Counselor.html
