Introduction

Therapy is a sacred space. It is a place to pause, exhale, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced, overlooked, or forgotten. It is an opportunity to uncover truths that are uniquely your own and to create a life that feels rooted in authenticity, purpose, and self-compassion. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we'll explore the stories that have shaped you, tend to the wounds that still ask for care, and nurture the version of yourself that is ready to emerge. As a Mental Health Counselor with a Limited Permit and clinical experience at Montefiore Medical Center, I support individuals navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. My work is grounded in a commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community, women, and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. My approach is collaborative, integrative, and deeply client-centered. Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, and Narrative Therapy, I tailor treatment to honor your unique needs and goals. I also incorporate trauma-informed care, harm reduction principles, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment. Beyond traditional therapeutic approaches, I bring a passion for creative expression, storytelling, and ancestral healing into my work. I believe healing is not only about understanding yourself in the present but also about exploring the threads that connect you to those who came before you. Together, we can honor the wisdom carried through generations while gently untangling patterns that no longer serve your growth. Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you are beneath the expectations, survival strategies, and inherited narratives. It is about reclaiming your voice, strengthening your resilience, and stepping into a life that feels aligned with your values and truth. This is your journey. A journey of self-discovery, restoration, and transformation. I would be honored to hold space for you as you define yourself on your own terms and create a future that feels fully and unapologetically yours.
