As a therapist, Zac values the unique experiences and narratives that an individual brings to their therapeutic process and celebrates the willingness to lean into the often-difficult work that therapy can elicit. It is the hope that the therapeutic process will illuminate the patterns and events that can and have created conflict and stress; and inhibit one’s feeling of wellbeing. Zac endeavors to create a therapeutic environment that is centered in positive regard, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and seeks to empower the ability to make meaningful change in one’s life. Zac believes that a foundation for the effective therapeutic relationship is built on trust, validation, and compassionate accountability. Zac is a graduate of Pacific University’s Master of Social Work program and received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Portland State University. Zac has experience working in multiple levels of care in the mental/behavioral health field with children and families; and with adults undergoing substance use treatment.
