Hello! My name is Zach, and I am a neurofeedback and mental health therapist. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and other emotional concerns. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and evidence-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioral interventions, and Neurofeedback to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for lasting growth. I believe therapy works best when we build on your existing strengths while creating new tools to navigate life's challenges. In addition to traditional therapy, I offer Neurofeedback, a non-invasive approach that can help improve attention, emotional regulation, stress management, and overall brain functioning. Neurofeedback can be a valuable tool for individuals looking to better understand and optimize how their brain responds to everyday challenges. My passion for mental health developed through both my education and professional experiences. While working in a group home for youth with behavioral concerns, I witnessed the life-changing impact that compassionate and effective therapy can have on individuals and families. That experience inspired me to pursue a career helping others find healing, growth, and resilience. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Kentucky and earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Utah State University. I also speak Spanish and am happy to incorporate it into sessions when helpful for clients and families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active through sports and fitness, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle that supports overall well-being. Change can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to face it alone. Whether you're working through anxiety, behavioral challenges, emotional difficulties, or simply seeking personal growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
