I have been a licensed therapist since 2013. Originally from Wisconsin, I have called Steamboat Springs, Colorado, home since 2017. I specialize in treating addiction, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep difficulties, trauma (PTSD), and sports performance concerns. Whether you're seeking therapy for the first time or have struggled to find lasting relief through previous treatment, my goal is to help you move beyond managing symptoms and create meaningful, lasting change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I use an integrative approach that includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Brainspotting, emphasizing the connection between the brain, body, and behavior. I also incorporate my Computer–Chimp–Human (CCHIP) model to help clients understand how emotional instincts (Chimp), learned patterns (Computer), and intentional thinking (Human) influence their reactions and behaviors. This understanding helps clients break unhelpful patterns and develop healthier responses. I believe effective therapy goes beyond talking about problems. Together, we'll work to address underlying issues, build practical skills, and create lasting change. My goal is simple: to help you better understand yourself, overcome what's keeping you stuck, and build a life that reflects what matters most to you.
