My passion is to help couples, families, parents, and individuals build healthier relationships with each other by overcoming trauma, negative thinking, and unhealthy patterns of behavior. I love what I do and look forward to building a therapeutic relationship so that we can work together to build a healthier life for you, and for those around you. I work with parents, couples, individuals, young adults and adolescents. I am fluent in both English and Urdu, and personally understand the struggle of immigrant families. Raised in the Chicago area, I earned my first Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies from University of Chicago and my second Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Amberton University in Frisco, TX. My training and experience includes becoming a certified Practical Parenting Educator and a certified Prepare/Enrich marriage facilitator, spearheading community youth groups, supporting underserved populations at local non-profits and active engagement in the community on mental health awareness
