I'm Zia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker deeply committed to helping you process and heal from trauma, eating disorders, and other mental health struggles in a way that feels supportive, compassionate, and uniquely yours. I work with young adults through seniors. I am extremely passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, heal from trauma, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves. My clinical background is rooted in treating eating disorders, and my interests have expanded to include maternal mental health, women's issues, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I enjoy working with clients from teen through older adulthood, recognizing that every stage of life brings its own unique experiences and challenges. As a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned and social justice-informed clinician, I believe in celebrating all bodies, honoring individual experiences, and creating a safe, affirming space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I incorporate evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while leaving room for something I believe is equally important: a little humor! I am currently accepting private pay clients as I wait on insurance credentialing.
