Introduction

Zoe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate in the state of North Carolina. She is passionate about fostering a space where every individual can feel seen, validated, and challenged with warmth and kindness. Zoe works primarily with adults with a special interest in trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, attachment wounds, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Zoe has an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Vermont. After undergrad, Zoe worked in a residential substance use and mental health treatment center for three years, serving families from the perinatal period through their children’s fifth birthday. During her Master’s education at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, Zoe developed her skills even further with special focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAT)— serving as one of the founders and co-chairs of the PAT caucus, and holistic treatments for PMADs. Zoe utilizes relational approaches with eclectic modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), parts work, self-compassion, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. In her free time, Zoe loves to spend time in nature, play with her rescue pup Rocco, and craft (the current craft is beading)!
