Introduction

I'm Zoe Long Holloway and I am a Licensed Counselor in the state of Alabama and received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University. While at Auburn, I became passionate about psychology and, having seen the impact social media can have on mental health in my time as a research assistant, began focusing on how I can be a part of the solution for people living with mental health concerns. I have experience working with ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stage of life problems, addiction, and various other challenges and conditions! My approach to these concerns involve an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused practices to meet my clients where they are and work towards their goals. I works with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I work consistently to stay on top of new trends and research within the counseling field to ensure I am providing the best services to my clients. In my free time, I enjoy being creative (art, music, etc), spending some time outdoors, watching new tv series and movies, as well as playing a video game or two! Overall, I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live the life they wish to!
