It can be hard to find a therapist who feels like the right fit, especially when you are grieving a significant loss, feeling overwhelmed, facing a challenge, or stuck in repetitive patterns. With patience and authenticity, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences and the meanings they hold. I typically work with adults who feel anxious, depressed, or struggle with significant life transitions or losses, relationships, parenting, trauma, guilt and shame. I am passionate about supporting clients through all stages of grief, including acute, anticipatory, ambiguous, and non-death losses. In our work, I may draw upon several modalities that facilitate lasting change and growth, including mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy, EMDR, DBT, and creative arts. A former architect, I continue to think creatively about how environment affects us and I understand the toll that academia and high-pressure work environments can take on mental health.
