Introduction

Birkley believes client growth and healing occur when clients feel safe in in their world and context. She strives to create a safe space for her clients where growth and change can happen. Clients are the experts of their lives and, Birkley approaches therapy as a process where client’s seek the change they desire. Birkley believes it is an honor to walk alongside each client as they seek healing and health. Her therapeutic process will encourage and challenge clients to address all current aspects of their lives in order to find flourishing. Birkley is dedicated to understanding the intricate dynamic between the mind and body, with an emphasis on the connection between mental and physical well-being. She views humans as biological, psychological, and spiritual being—as it is the complexity and combination that exists for us all. Birkley is equipped to assist adult navigating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and the various challenges associated with adjustment or transition. She believes in an inside-out approach to healing and health as she helps clients develop skills that aide in meeting their goals. Birkley is passionate to empower individuals who experience difficulties within relationships and within themselves. Birkley was born in Dallas and moved back after receiving her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas. She enjoys spending her free time with family and her puppy, Onyx.
