I was first drawn to this work through my own experience of having a therapist who supported me on my journey toward healing and wholeness. That experience stayed with me and continues to shape how I show up for my clients. After a fulfilling 26-year career with a Class I railroad, I made a mid-life transition into psychotherapy. That chapter of my life deeply informs my work today, bringing perspective, resilience, and a grounded understanding of stress, responsibility, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS-informed), and attachment-based work. I support clients in exploring patterns, strengthening self-understanding, and developing practical tools for meaningful and lasting change. I strive to create a warm, steady, and nonjudgmental space, with occasional humor, where clients feel safe to do honest work and move toward greater clarity, connection, and well-being.
