My ideal client is somebody that wants to be heard and is looking for a space that is non-judgmental and comfortable to them. In working with me, they will be able to change their own lives in the ways that suit them through thoughtful collaboration. Therapy can include a variety of methods towards change based on the clients preference ranging from talk, art, music, dance, play, and much more; therapy is what you make of it. I am a queer therapist currently working my way off of federal disability due to chronic illnesses. I am well versed in a wide variety of issues including those involving alternative lifestyles (Kinks/BDSM, ethical non-monogamy, non-religious affiliations, etc.) life transitions, mood problems, chronic illness, and LGBTQIA+ specifics. Deciding to make a change is a challenging, but important first step. Asking for help is the next major hurdle. The process of change is painful and healing. As a counselor I help facilitate that process in a calm, affirming, and relaxing environment filled with genuine support and compassion.
