Have you ever had a moment where everything seemed fine—then suddenly your child is overwhelmed, you're reacting, and you’re both left wondering, “What just happened?” Maybe they seem fine at school, then unravel at home—leaving you confused, concerned, and unsure how to help. You’re not alone. I help parents and children move from chaos and shutdown to clarity and connection. I’m Kasey Key, LPC, Registered Play Therapist, offering child therapy, play therapy, and family support for emotional outbursts, anxiety, ADHD, and behavior struggles. I work with children who are sensitive, gifted, strong-willed—or often, all three—and with parents who are doing their best but still feeling stuck. Through developmentally appropriate, evidence-based therapy, I help kids build emotional regulation and coping skills so they don’t have to “hold it in” all day and explode at home. I support caregivers in responding with calm and confidence—even when it feels like too much. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist based in Plano, Texas, I serve families across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, both in person and via telehealth. My training at Southern Methodist University, combined with advanced specialization in play therapy and child development, allows me to meet families with both clinical expertise and deep compassion. My clients don’t just work on communication—they find their voice. Together, we build emotional insight, strengthen resilience, and create lasting change in how your family relates and responds to each other, developing healthy patterns that influence this generation and the next.
