LaKetra Young-Ariyo, MA, LPC-S, NPT-C, is a licensed psychotherapist and neuropsychotherapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation. Her work integrates neuroscience-informed therapy, EMDR, and bottom-up regulation approaches to help clients move out of survival mode and reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity, and capacity. I gained experience working in mental health at CenterPointe Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri as a therapist, as well as Medical City Green Oaks Psychiatric hospital in Dallas as the supervisor of the admissions department and an emergency room crisis interventionist. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
